Serving at Found
Your Passions Turned into Action
At Found Church, we believe that church isn’t a building or a 60-minute service—it’s a people united by the love of Christ. Our mission is to lead and love the diverse community of Jackson together, and that happens through the hands and hearts of our servants.
Whether you’ve been part of the Found community for years or are brand new, there is a place for you to use your unique gifts to knit our community together.
Why Serve?
Relationships aren’t built just by sitting in a row; they are built by serving in a circle. There is a unique bond that happens when you’re brewing coffee, rocking a crying infant, or running a soundboard next to someone else.

Hospitality
Our Hospitality Team does more than open doors; they open hearts. By joining this team, you’re the first person to make someone feel seen at Found Church in downtown Jackson.
Our vision is to create a culture of genuine welcome where every person is seen, known, and valued. We commit to walking with others in both sorrow and joy—mourning with those who mourn and rejoicing with those who rejoice—so that no one stands alone. Clothed in compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, we seek to reflect Christ’s love by breaking down barriers that divide and embodying the unity and peace that He calls us to share.
Colossians 3:12-15, Colossians 4:6, Romans 12:9-18
Rooted Kids
They say it takes a village, and our Rooted team is exactly that: a community of leaders, parents, and mentors who are committed to leading and loving the next generation together. We believe every child is a vital part of God’s family right now, not just when they “grow up.”
Our vision is to build a safe, joyful environment where kids are “rooted and established in love.” We don’t just provide childcare; we are spiritual gardeners. From rocking infants to leading dynamic lessons for elementary students, we seek to cultivate faith, wonder, and belonging, ensuring that every child knows they are seen, known, and valued by God.
Ephesians 3:14-19, Matthew 19:14
Note: All Rooted volunteers will be connected with our safety and background check process.

Production
The Production Team is the engine behind our Sunday gatherings, using technology to bridge the gap between the stage and the seats. We believe that every slide, light cue, and audio level is a tool to help our diverse community focus on the beauty of Christ without distraction.
If you are tech-savvy or willing to learn and have a heart for excellence, this is your place to shine. We are looking for people who enjoy working behind the scenes to orchestrate our services—managing graphics, capturing recordings, and ensuring our message reaches everyone in the room and online. Whether you are a seasoned pro or eager to learn the sound board, your “hidden” work makes a visible impact on the unity of our church.
Exodus 35:30-35, Colossians 3:23-24
Creative
The Creative Team serves as the visual voice of Found Church, capturing the beauty of our diverse community and sharing it with the world. We believe that art and storytelling are powerful tools for unity, helping us communicate God’s love in ways that words alone cannot.
Our vision is to tell the story of what God is doing in downtown Jackson through compelling graphics, photography, and video. Whether you are a designer, a filmmaker, or a social media storyteller, this team is where your artistic gifts meet our mission. By creating the visuals for our events, services, and outreach, you help bridge the gap between our church walls and the city we love, inviting everyone to see that they belong here.
Exodus 31:1-5

Safety
The Safety Team serves as the silent guardians of our community, providing the peace of mind that allows everyone to worship and connect freely. We believe that creating a safe environment is an act of deep love; by staying alert, we ensure that Found Church remains a sanctuary where families can feel secure and the “peace of God” is reflected in our physical surroundings.
Our vision is to be a watchful presence throughout our downtown building and at community events. From monitoring our Rooted Kids area to securing our entrances and keeping a gentle eye on the heartbeat of our services, this team is trained to be proactive and prepared. If you have a background in safety, a calm head under pressure, and a heart for protecting the community, your presence here is a vital gift of service to every person who walks through our doors.
Philippians 2:3-4, Hebrews 10:24, John 15:12
Facilities
The Facilities Team stewards the physical space where our community gathers, ensuring that our home in downtown Jackson is a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone. We believe that a clean building is a form of silent hospitality—it tells every person who walks through our doors that they were expected, they are cared for, and they are worth our best effort.
Our vision is to maintain a space that honors the Lord and respects our neighbors. From sparkling kitchens to tidy common areas, this team works behind the scenes to handle the essentials: vacuuming floors, cleaning restrooms, and preparing our rooms for ministry. If you find satisfaction in a job well done and want to serve the church in a tangible, humble way, your hands-on work will help create the atmosphere where life-changing connections happen.
Psalm 84:10, Colossians 3:17

Cares
The Cares Ministry is the heart of Found Church in action, ensuring that no one in our community has to walk through life’s transitions alone. We believe that true community means showing up for one another when it matters most—bringing the comfort of Christ into the living rooms and hospital rooms of our city.
Our vision is to provide tangible support to our church family during seasons of both celebration and challenge. Whether it’s coordinating a meal train for a family with a new baby, writing letters of encouragement to those who are isolated, or reaching out to neighbors recovering from surgery, this team is dedicated to the ministry of presence. If you have a heart for hospitality that extends beyond our building and into the homes of Jackson, your small acts of kindness will make a life-changing impact.
Galatians 6:2, Romans 12:15, 1 John 3:18
Food Pantry
The Food Pantry Team is a vital expression of our belief that God’s love is tangible. In a city where many of our neighbors face food insecurity, we believe that providing a meal is one of the most fundamental ways to say, “You are seen and you are valued.”
Our vision is to meet people exactly where they are. We currently host two distinct pantries each month: one in the heart of downtown at our church home, and one reaching out to our neighbors on the East Side of Jackson. Whether you are sorting donations, packing bags, or walking someone to their car, you are part of a team that provides dignity and nourishment to our city. If you have a heart for justice and a desire to meet the practical needs of our community, there is a place for you on the front lines of our outreach.
Matthew 25:35, Isaiah 58:10

Clothing Pantry
The Clothing Pantry is a space where we provide more than just a coat or a pair of shoes; we provide dignity and care to our neighbors in Jackson. We believe that everyone deserves to feel confident and cared for, and our pantry is a place where we turn surplus into a shared blessing for our community.
Our vision is to create an environment that feels like a boutique—organized, welcoming, and full of quality items. Twice a month, our team stays after service to host our neighbors, walking with them through the pantry to help them find exactly what they need. Behind the scenes, this team is always in motion—sorting, folding, hanging, and organizing donations with excellence. If you have an eye for detail and a heart for one-on-one connection, this is a beautiful way to serve our city.
Matthew 25:36, James 2:15-16
Community Events
The Community Events Team is our outward-facing heart, bringing the joy and unity of Found Church directly into the life of downtown Jackson. We believe that being a church for the city means showing up where our neighbors are—celebrating together, serving together, and building bridges that last far beyond a single day.
As a growing area of our ministry, this team is the creative force behind our large-scale gatherings. From our annual Back to School bash and neighborhood BBQs to our church anniversary celebrations, we aim to host events that make every resident feel like they belong. Whether we are hosting our own festival or partnering with existing city events, this team handles the logistics, the hospitality, and the fun. If you love a good party with a great purpose, your energy can help us turn a simple gathering into a life-changing connection.
Hebrews 13:16, Matthew 5:14-16, Nehemiah 8:10

Administrative
The Administrative Team is the quiet backbone of Found Church, providing the support and structure that allow our ministry to thrive. We believe that organization is a form of stewardship, and by managing the details, we create a firm foundation where ministry and community can flourish without hindrance.
As a new and evolving team, our vision is to partner closely with pastoral staff and ministry leaders to help our church run smoothly. Whether it’s assisting with scheduling, organizing resources, or supporting the day-to-day operations of our downtown office, this team is for those who find joy in being helpful and reliable. If you have a gift for organization and a heart for service, you can help us build the systems that keep our Found family connected and moving forward.
